We produce a variety of dielectric strength testers which are ideal for use in testing things such as: control panels, transformers, electrical motors, home appliances, lighting fixtures, electrical cables, components, electronic ballasts, switching power supplies and other similar equipment. Certain types of dielectric testers are designed for testing equipment with a line-cord which can be plugged directly to the tester. During the continuity test, we determine whether the ground wire of the line cord is properly connected to the metal frame of the unit. If it’s not well connected then the no-ground light will appear. If this light goes on it means the connection is bad and faulty and no hipot testing can be conducted. If the connection is deemed to be good, then the hipot test will continue.
